Applications

In-mold decorated parts are widely used, for example, decoration in plastic container. The advantages of inmold labels beyond pressure sensitive labels are

• Ease to recycle
• No label looking
• Simple application

The development of in-mold labeling is the most effective method for large volume, and fast operations. Decals are inserted into the mold cavity and fused during the molding cycle; they would then become an integral part of molded articles. The process for decoration is employed for both thermosetting and thermoplastic materials. In mold labels are inlaid into the container surface with no label look.  Moreover, the containers are recyclable without removing the labels.
